Meet the Physio

She has been treating the East Rand community since 2014, working alongside the doctors at Edenvale Medicross so your care is connected from diagnosis to recovery.

Your first visit

Not sure what to expect? Every first appointment follows the same three steps.

  1. 1

    Assessment

We talk through your history and symptoms, then assess how you move to find the cause.

  2. 2

    Treatment

Hands-on treatment starts in the same session, matched to what the assessment shows.

  3. 3

    Your plan

You leave knowing what we are treating, what to do at home, and what comes next.

Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. Physiotherapy is a first-contact profession in South Africa, so you can book directly. If a doctor or specialist has referred you, bring the letter and any scans or reports with you.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Your ID and medical aid card, any referral letter, and any X-rays, scans or reports you have. Wear or bring comfortable clothing that lets us reach and move the area being treated.

What happens in the first session?

We assess before we treat. Expect questions about your history and symptoms, a movement assessment to find the cause, hands-on treatment, and a clear plan for what happens next.

Where do I find the practice?

We are on the first floor of Edenvale Medicross, 111 Andries Pretorius Street, Edenvale, a few minutes from Bedfordview, Greenstone and Modderfontein. Parking is available at the centre.

How do I book an appointment?

Call (011) 451 9539 during consulting hours, or send a WhatsApp to 082 330 4075 and we will confirm a time that suits you. Appointments are by arrangement.
